Terms and Conditions
By paying over the initial deposit, the client is understood to have read and accepted the below terms and conditions.
Irish Golf Vacations will abide by the spirit and of the law and will endeavour to arrive at satisfactory outcome for all parties.
1. A 30% deposit is due and payable upon booking of tour. This deposit is non-refundable.
2. The booking is not accepted until the date shown on the confirmation invoice as issued by
the Company. If the booking is not accepted the deposit will be returned.
3. Invoice. Irish Golf Vacations will send confirmation when appropriate deposits have been paid. If the booking is within eight weeks of departure then full payment is due. All outstanding amounts must be paid eight weeks before departure. The precise date will be shown on the invoice.
4. Changes & Cancellation by The Client. The effective date of change or cancellation is the date that the Company is advised in writing (letter/email/fax). If you decide to alter any material details after your booking has been accepted by the Company providing we are informed not
later than 6 weeks prior to departure, these will be treated as a change and €30 administration fee per booking will be charged. However, any changes to a passengers name originally show in the
booking or any alteration requested within 6 weeks of departure may be
treated as cancellation.
5. Cancellation by The Customer. If the customer does not pay the balance of the holiday price at the prescribed time, the Company reserves the right, after due written notice to the customer , to cancel the booking . In this event, or the customer/client cancels after the booking is accepted the deposit will be forfeited. Additionally, if the cancellation occurs for either reason, the
following cancellation charges will be payable by the customer/client.
More than 56 days - Deposit Only
56 days or less - 100%
6. Cancellation by The Company
In the unlikely event of the tour cancellation by The Company, a full refund will be given to the client and a written explanation is to be furnished. The refund will not cover third party expenses incurred by the client such as airline flight charges etc. We encourage the client to take adequate travel insurance to cover all needs.
7. Our Price Guarantee
We reserve the right to increase or decrease our prices at any time. If you accept the price of your holiday as quoted at the time of booking and pay the full amount on receipt of our confirmation
invoice, your holiday price will be totally guaranteed against further price rises. If you do not want to take advantage of this scheme you can pay the deposit and your final confirmation invoice (issued 8 weeks prior to departure) may reflect any necessary price increase as a result of currency fluctuations subject to the first 2% of any increase being absorbed by the Company and should the
increase exceed 10% of the total holiday cost, you will be entitled to a full refund.
8. Force Majeure
The Company accepts no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of loss or damage or changes caused by force majeure events such as strikes, riots, political unrest, war hostilities, or threat of war, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, weather problems or similar events beyond its control. Specifically, the Company will not be liable for golf course closures on the day of play due to bad weather or any other act. The Company will work with service providers to ensure all is done to accommodate its clients. The Company will not refund the client for missing tee times / bookings when it can be reasonably ascertained that The Company provided adequate transportation/notice to the client of the appointment in question.
9. Car Rental.
Drivers must be 23 years of age and hold a full driving license. The maximum age is 70 years (subject to car rental provider rules) although some exceptions can raise the age to 75.
10. Travel Insurance
The company advises that adequate and comprehensive travel insurance be taken out to cover the trip. The Company will not be held liable for inadequate insurance cover for the customer.
