Mount Wolseley is one of Ireland's top golf courses. Opened in 1996 it is set amidst the 180 acres of the Mount Wolseley Estate. The course was designed by Christy O' Connor Jnr and it is acclaimed to be one of his finest designs. Measuring 7,198 yards its snakes its way around the parkland estate. Accurate play is essential with water coming into play on 11 out of the 18 holes. The par five 10th requires a drive hugging the vast bunker on the right to give you a chance to lay up or perhaps take on the lake. The estate is also home to a Hotel, Spa and Country Club.
