Rosses Point (Sligo)
County Sligo Golf Course or more commonly known as Rosses Point is an traditonal links course that inter-twines its way around the coast of Sligo. For a links course the dunes are not particularly high but the rough is penalising and any erratic tee-shots will be punished.
Ther is so much history surrounding this course and in fact the land it was rented off the Uncle of W.B Yeats (noted writer and Nobel prize winner) and Jack B. Yeats (the noted landscape artist). The town of Sligo provides an excellent base and BenBulben Mountain dominates the view of the sky-line from the course.
Rosses Point is well worth a visit; contact us to discuss your Irish Golf Vacation.
