Royal County Down is perhaps one of the best known links courses in the world. Set in a spectacular setting under the Mourne Mountains and guarded on one side by the Irish Sea – County Down Golf Club is a course you need to play if you are looking at travelling to the North-East.





There are two courses at County Down; The Championship Links and the Annesley Links.

The Championship course is the jewel in the crown, generating rave reviews from all that play it. This course is consisently in the top twenty courses in the world and has staged the Open Championsip in the past, with rumours eminating that it will hold one in the near future.





The second course at Royal County Down is the Annesley Links, this is not in the same category as the Championship course but it is not meant to be – this course is playable by all levels and a fair test for all concerned.
