Ballyliffen
Ballyliffen is Ireland’s most northerly golf course, located 10 miles south of Malin Head (Ireland’s most northernly headland). Two courses are present at Ballyliffen – The Old Course and Glashedy.
Glashedy was opened in the mid 1990s to great acclaim and was designed by Ruddy and Craddick. The course itself is of championship standard and is though that it is only a matter of time before the Irish Open is held there. Nick Faldo is associated with the club and has advised the club managment on many aspects of development into the future.
The Old Course has sttod the test of time but on the otherhand hasn’t been afraid to add sligh modifications over the years to keep it competitive.
Ballyliffen is a great location to experience fantastic links golf – either course would be a challenge to the best golfers and the scenary of the wild Atlantic and Donegal coast is worth the trip. Why not contact us to discuss your trip to Ballyliffen.
