Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do we begin the process of planning our trip with Irish Golf Vacations?
A. It’s really very simple; just contact either Michael or Rick to discuss your upcoming vacation and we’ll start the process off. Even if you decide not to use our service we are delighted to share our experience help you plan your vacation.
Q. What if we are not familiar with golf courses and travel in Ireland?
A. Not a problem – we love to spread the word concerning the most fantastic courses in the world. It’s a little known fact but Ireland has more golf courses per head of population than any other country in the world! We can tell you about the well known courses like Ballybunion, Old Head and the K-Club and perhaps let you in on little gems like Gowran Park, Esker Hills, Skellig Bay and Rosapenna. Each country you visit has certain travel nuisances so we can take the guess work out of your travel plans by either suggesting the best route, whether to use public transport versus our guided tour, car-hire or perhaps even taking internal flights. You would also need to consider what would be the best airport to arrive and depart at.
Q. Can Irish Golf Vacations work with us if we have a limited budget for our trip?
A. Yes – we can tailor a trip to suit any budget. You don’t have to play and stay in the most expensive courses and hotels – in some instances we encourage clients to sample all aspects of Irish life and play local courses and meet club members as they travel. An Irish Golf Vacation doesn’t have to be expensive to be rewarding – it just has to be well planned.

We will deal with the desiginated group leader in arranging all aspects of the tour, including meals and extra entertainment if required.

Q. Does Irish Golf Vacation have standard golfing packages or are all trips customized for each client?

Again we will work with you to ensure your loss is minimised in that unlikely event.
