Golf Challenge 2008

The Irish Golf Vacations Golf Challenge will be held at the Blarney Golf Resort, Cork, Ireland. The final will be played over two days with the winner coming from the best combined score from the four ball better ball format.

The competition is open to clubs and individuals alike, all you need is a handicap certificate.

You will have the opportunity to travel to Blarney and stay for 3 nights while competing in the two round final. On the final evening a prize ceremony will take place along with a farewell reception.

The Blarney Golf Resort is a four star hotel and golf course located very close to Cork city and airport. The course itself is the very first co-designed by John Daly in Europe– it certainly lives up to its reputation as being one of the foremost challenges Ireland can offer.

The itinerary is as follows;

• Wednesday 24th September 2008
  l Check in at Blarney Golf Resort & register for tournament(PM)
• Thursday 25th September 2008
  l Play first round of four ball better ball
• Friday 26th September 2008
  l Play final round of four ball better ball
  l Gala Dinner
  l Prize Ceremony
• Saturday 27th September 2008
  l Depart for home
